Posta halwa |posta sheera recipe |poppy seeds halwa recipe Prep time:30min Cook time:25min Total time:55min Cusine:Indian Dish:Dessert Author:Seema Priyadarshani Ingredients: 1. 1cup posta(poppy seeds) soaked in water for 30 minutes 2. 1/2 cup sugar(or as required) 3. 2 to 3 green cardmon (choti elaichi ) 4. 3 Tablespoon ghee (clarified butter) 5. 10 to 12 kaju _crushed (cashew) 6. 1/4 cup raisins (kishmish) 7. 1/2 tablespoon chironji 8. 1/4cup Khoya 8. 1 and 1/2cup milk or water Method: 1. Soaked posta for one hr to 30minutes and blend in a fine paste 2. Heat heavy bottom kadhai and add ghee. 3. When ghee becomes hot add crushed cashew.saute 4. Now add posta paste and stir. 5. Keep on stirring continously so that posta does not stick to the pan and roast evenly. 6. Keep on stirring posta for 5 to 7 min till its grain changes its colour. 7.
