Ingredients:
1. 1 and1/2cup green moong soaked in water for 30minutes
2. 1/2 cup sugar(or as required)
3. 2 to 3 green cardmon (choti elaichi )
4. 3 to 4 Tablespoon ghee (clarified butter)
5. 10 to 12 kaju _crushed (cashew)
6. 1/4 cup raisins (kishmish)
7. 1/2 tablespoon chironji
8. 1/4 cup khoya
8. 1 and 1/2cup milk or water
Method:
1. Drain and blend moong in a fine paste
2. Heat ghee in a heavy bottom kadhai
3. Add crushed cashew in hot ghee and saute
4. Now add moong paste and stir.
5. Keep on stirring continously so that it does not stick to the pan and roast evenly.
6. Keep on stirring for 5 to 7 min till its grain changes its colour.
7. When turns to light brown colour then add khoya and stir.
8. Add sugar(on low flame) and raisins .stir
9. Stir continously and add water or milk.keep on stirring ,mixture absorb water and starts to thicken .
10. When mixture leave the edges of the kadhai halwa is ready.
11. Garnish with crushed green cardmon ,desicated coconut powder and dryfruits.
Note:
1. While frying mixture will splutter so be careful.
2. Add sugar as per your taste.
