Soya chunks gravy,Soya chunks and potato gravy recipe

Ingredients :

1.  1/2tbs asofoetida

2.  1/2tbs cumin seed(jeera)

3.  2-3 whole Redchilli

4.  Cardmon,clove and cinnamon 

5.  1 tbs turmeric powder

6.  1 tbs ginger garlic paste

7.  2medium size  Potato 
 
8.  2 medium size tomato

9.  Chopped coriander one cup
 
10. Two medium size Chopped  onion

11. 3 vertically slit green chilli
 
12.  1 cup soya chunks

13.  Salt to taste

14.  2 bay leaves( tejpatta)

15.  1 tbs Kashmiri red chilli powder.

16   1 tbs coriander powder

17.  1tbs cumin powder

18.  1/2 tbs black pepper  powder

19,  1tbs garam masala powder

20.  1 tbs kasoori methi

21.  3 tbs cooking oil

Method:

Preparation :  


              Boil potatoes peel and cut into small pieces. Keep aside. Boil soya chunks.squeeze and keep aside   Cut tomatoes in small pieces. Keep aside . Chopped onion and slit green chilli.

       Heat heavy bottom kadai. Add oil. 

In hot oil add 1tbs cumin seed. 1/4tbs asoefoetida and 2-3 whole Redchilli and bay  leaves(tejpatta), cinnamon stick,cardmon,three clove,

Now add chopped onion, green chilli.fry till onion turns translucent 

After add 1 tbs ginger garlic paste and chopped tomatoes and salt .

Add mentioned spice with 1/2cup water so spices doesn't burn while frying.

Stir and let spices fry for 2-3minutes so its raw aroma is gone.

Add potato and soya mix them in gravy Add one cup water or as desired for gravy.

Let it simmer for further few minutes. 

When sabji is ready add garam masala powder and kasoori methi ,simmer few minutes,last add chopped coriander leaves

Potato and  soya chunks gravy  is now ready to serve. 

Sprinkle some chopped fresh coriander before serving. 

Serve it with puri, paratha ,phulka or rice. 


Note:
1.     You can also make dry/sukhi sabji
