Ingredients :
1. 2cup cabbage thinly sliced
2. 1/2cup Matar
3. 1medium size potato
4. 2green chilli chopped
5. 1medium size onion sliced
6. 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder
7. 1/2tablespoon cumin powder
8. 1/2tablespoon coriander powder
9. 1tablespoon ginger garlic paste
10. 2 tablespoon cumin seeds
11. 1/2tablespoon red chilli powder
12. 1/4 tablespoon hing(Asoefitida)
13. 2tablespoon oil(mustard)
14. Salt
Method:
1. Cut cabbage into thin slices
2. 1/2 cup potato wash peel and cut into small pieces
3. Cut onion into thin slice and chopped green chilli
4. Heat oil in a heavy bottom kadhai and when oil is hot add hing to it
5. Add fenugreek seeds and bay leaves.saute
6. Now add chopped green chili and sliced onion.stir fry
7. When onion becomes transluscent add ginger ,garlic paste.stir fry it for one minute.
8. When its raw aroma is gone add all powder masala(spices)and 1/2 cup water so spices does not burn.saute .
9. Add peas(matar) ,stir to fry add cabbage and potato.again stir to fry .
10. Now cover and let it simmer on low medium flame .stir ocassionally.
11. After 10 to 15 minutes when cabbage and peas are cooked ,stir , garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
12. Cabbage and peas delicious sabji is ready to serve.Enjoy it with roti or chapati.
Note:
1. I have used mustard oil ,you can use oil of your choice.
2. Small size of carrot can be added to enhance the nutritional value.It also add colour to your platter.
