Ingredients :
- Aloo(potato)washed boiled peeled and cut into dice shaped (two medium size)
- 3tbs Yellow mustard powder (sarson powder)
- 1tbs. Ajwain
- 1tbs. Kalongi
- 1tbs Redchilli powder
- 1and 1/2tbs. Haldi powder (Turmeric powder)
- 4to5tbs Mustard oil(Sarson oil)
Method:
- Wash boil and peel potato. Cut into dice shape.
- Take potato in a wide bowl.
- Add mustard powder, ajwain, kalongi, turmeric powder, redchilli and mix them altogether,
- Now add salt to taste. Mix.
- Add mustard oil in the above mixture and mix properly. Keep aside for fifteen minutes and it is ready to serve.
- Potato pickle(Aloo ka achaar) is ready.
- Enjoy it as a side dish with any of your platter.
Note:
1. Potato can be cut into any desired shapes.
2. Mustard oil is used in this pickle.
3. Pickle can be used long when stored in refrigerator
