Kasoori methi(dry fenugreek leaves) Cookies

Ingredients:
1. 1and1/2 cup maida(all purpose flour)
2. 3/4 cup butter
3. 1/2 cup milk
4. 1/4 cup kasoori methi(dry fenugreek leaves)
5. 1/4tsp sugar
6. 1tablespoon ajwain(carom seed)
7. 1/2tsp baking soda
8. Salt as required
Method :
1. Sieve maida and baking soda together.
2. Whisk butter and milk till light and fluffy
3. Add flour ,kasoori methi,ajwain,salt to taste and knead together into a soft dough.
4. Meanwhile preheat the oven.
5. Roll the dough and cut into fancy shape or divide dough into equal small portion and gently press to flatten it and place on a baking tray and bake it for 15 to 20 min.
6. Allow the cookies to cool .
7. Serve it with milk tea or coffee.
Note:
1. Chilled dough before baking.Just put it in referigerator before baking.
2. Do not overmix cookie batter.
3. Do not overload cookies with kasoori methi.
