My children love Makhana kheer and sabudana kheer so I used to make it often at dinner time.
On sunday morning or on holidays pakoras are must. I make pakoras of brinjal(baigan),potato(aloo),cauliflower (phoolgobi),cabbage (pattagobi), greenchili(hari mirch), bottlegourd(kaddu),paneer(cottage cheese),and so many other things.
When I was young my mother used to make some special pakora with saag as I
remember it was
(poi ka saag/basella(malabar spinach) , gandhari ka saag)and I love these saag pakoras.
Pakoras are made in gramflour batter (besan) or rice batter.Batter is of semi thick consistency and some ginger garlic paste, haldi(turmeric)powder ,redchili powder, salt as per taste mix.
In vrat you can make pakora batter with Singhara ka atta, sendha salt ,black pepper powder  and redchili powder.
