Ingredients :

1. 250gm chana dal
2. Asafoetida
3. Bay leaves -2
4. Clove-2
5. Cardamon -2
6. Cinamon stick-1(1/2inch stick)
7. Jeera seed ( one tablespoon)
8. Black pepper ( half tablespoon)
9. Two-Three red chilli
10. Two medium sized tomatoes


To Make Paste

1. Garlic-ginger
2. Turmeric powder(one tbs)
3. Dhania ( two tablespoons)
4. Back pepper( one tbs)
5. Cumin seed(one tbs)
6. Redchilli powder (one tbs)
7. Onions(two medium sized)
8. Oil
9. Salt to taste

Method:

1. Take chana dal and soak it in water for two to three hours. Then make paste of it
2. Heat a heavy bottom kadai and add paste of chana dal in it and stir it continuously so that lump is not formed.
3. After few  minutes paste will turn into a soft dough.  Grease a plate with oil.
4. Spread dough on the plate. Cut it into  triangular pieces(or any shape you like) .
5. Heat oil in a frying pan and deep fry all dal  pieces in it.
6. keep them aside
7. Now add pinch of aesafotida in the leftover oil. Then add all whole spices.
8.add sliced onions. When the onions are golden brown add tomatoes  (cut into small pieces).
9. Add paste of spices in it. And stir it to fry.
When the spices start realising oil add two and a half cup waters cover it and let it to simmer for two to three minutes.
10.  After that add fried pieces of chana dal.Again boil it for one or two minutes.
11. Chana dal sabji is ready to serve.sprinkle some chopped coriander leaves before serving.

Note:
          Serve sabji with paratha or rice.        

                       This delicious sabji is very tasty. You can make it on holidays .jeera rice and raita can also be served with this sabji.

Add sugar and mix Add milk to the atta and sugar mixture .mix Now add water little by little and mix well using spoon so lump is not formed  Add crushed cardmon in batter and mix Heat tawa to make dosa.smear oil on tawa before spreading dosa If using non stick tawa keepa flame low, than drop one spoonful of batter and spread it in circular giving round or oval shape Drizzle oil on the edges, When one side turns golden brown flip it to the other side . Fold and serve. Serve hot with chilli pickle.  Note : First heat pan and then reduce the flame ,then spread dosa batter increase

Raisin Cookies| kishmish ke cookies | Raisin biscuits Prep time:20min Cook time:20min Total time:40min Author:Seema priyadarshani Ingredients : 1.    1and1/2 cup maida(all purpose flour) 2.    3/4 cup butter 3.    1/2 cup milk 4.    50 ml condensed milk 5.    70 gm castor sugar 6.    1/2cup chocolate(broken into small pieces) optional 7.    1tsp baking powder 8.    1/2tsp baking soda 9.    1/2tsp vanilla essence 10.  1/2 cup raisins 11.   Salt as required Method : 1.    Sieve maida, baking powder and baking soda together. 2.    Whisk butter and castor sugar together till light and fluffy 3.    Add condensed milk and mix it.add flour and chocolate pieces ,raisins and form together into a soft dough. 4.    Meanwhile preheat the oven. 5.    Roll the dough and cut into fancy shape or divide dough into equal small portion and gently press to flatten it and place on a baking tray and bake it for 15 to 20 min. 6.    Allow the cookies to cool
