Peas and carrot poha recipe 
                        Poha is beaten rice or flattened rice. It is very popular breakfast recipe of India. Recipe is simple and healthy yet very yummy. Quick recipe and it doesn't need much ingredients. We can make it with easily available household ingredients .
                    Children are also very fond of poha . It is a popular tiffin box or lunch box recipe .

Ingredients :(1cup 250ml) 



  1. 1and1/2cup  Poha
  2. One medium size carrot cut into pieces(1/4cup carrot pieces)
  3. 1/4cup peas(matar)
  4. Kanda(onion)two large size thinly sliced, 
  5. 2  Green chilli vertically slit,
  6. 2. Red chilli (two pod) ,
  7. 1tbs.        Ginger, garlic paste,  
  8. 2tbs         Coriander chopped to garnish,
  9. 1/2cup     Peanut(moongphali) ,
  10. 1tbs.        Turmeric powder (haldi) ,
  11. 1tbs.        Coriander powder (Dhania) ,
  12. 1tbs.        Cumin powder (jeera), 
  13. 1/2tbs.     Redchilli powder, 
  14. 1tbs.        Garam masala powder ,
  15. 1tbs.        Cumin seed (jeera), 
  16. 2and1/2tbs.  Oil(I have used mustard oil, but it is optional you can used as per your taste).



Method:

  1. Wash and drain (beaten rice) poha.keep aside
  2. Wash ,peel and cut carrot into pieces 
  3. Make thin slices of onion
  4. Make ginger garlic paste
  5. Heat heavy bottom kadhai and dry roast peanut ,or
  6. Add oil in a kadhai and fry peanut.take it out on a kitchen paper towel so extra oil is absorbed 
  7. Add cumin seeds in same leftover oil and let it crackle
  8. Then add Redchilli and green chilli .saute it
  9. Now add sliced onion.stir fry onion.when onion becomes translucent. 
  10. Add carrot pieces,peas and ginger garlic paste. Stir them.when raw aroma is gone, 
  11. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder , redchilli powder and cumin powder.stir
  12. Add 1/2 cup water and mix, let it simmer on low flame
  13. Add salt to taste 
  14. Now add poha in masala mixture
  15. Stir nicely so that masala and poha mix altogether .If poha mixture is dry sprinkle some water.
  16. Add roasted peanut and stir to mix
  17. Poha is now ready to serve
  18. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves before serving

Note:
  1. Wash and drain poha quickly otherwise it will absorb water.
2. You can use  nuts of your choice .

Add sugar and mix Add milk to the atta and sugar mixture .mix Now add water little by little and mix well using spoon so lump is not formed  Add crushed cardmon in batter and mix Heat tawa to make dosa.smear oil on tawa before spreading dosa If using non stick tawa keepa flame low, than drop one spoonful of batter and spread it in circular giving round or oval shape Drizzle oil on the edges, When one side turns golden brown flip it to the other side . Fold and serve. Serve hot with chilli pickle.  Note : First heat pan and then reduce the flame ,then spread dosa batter increase

Raisin Cookies| kishmish ke cookies | Raisin biscuits Prep time:20min Cook time:20min Total time:40min Author:Seema priyadarshani Ingredients : 1.    1and1/2 cup maida(all purpose flour) 2.    3/4 cup butter 3.    1/2 cup milk 4.    50 ml condensed milk 5.    70 gm castor sugar 6.    1/2cup chocolate(broken into small pieces) optional 7.    1tsp baking powder 8.    1/2tsp baking soda 9.    1/2tsp vanilla essence 10.  1/2 cup raisins 11.   Salt as required Method : 1.    Sieve maida, baking powder and baking soda together. 2.    Whisk butter and castor sugar together till light and fluffy 3.    Add condensed milk and mix it.add flour and chocolate pieces ,raisins and form together into a soft dough. 4.    Meanwhile preheat the oven. 5.    Roll the dough and cut into fancy shape or divide dough into equal small portion and gently press to flatten it and place on a baking tray and bake it for 15 to 20 min. 6.    Allow the cookies to cool
