                      Raita is a very delicious dish though It has very simple and quick recipe. It can be prepared with those ingredients which are easily available in every household. In summer curd is very common in Indian home ,to give variety to lunch or dinner platter different types of side dish is prepared.Raita is one of those dish.
                    I usually to make raita with potato, onion, bottle gourd (kaddu), tomato, carrot etc  more raita recipe you will find in my blog.

Ingredients :


1.    1cup. Fresh curd
2.    1tablespoon roasted cumin seed
3.    1tablespoon redchili powder
4.    1tablespoon grated ginger
5.    2green chilli chopped
6.    1tablespoon coriander leaves chopped
7.    1/4tablespoon sugar or 1/2tablespoon honey
8.     1and 1/2cup grated carrot


Method:

     1.      Grate 1 and 1/2 cup carrot


    2.       Take fresh curd in a wide bowl


    3.       Add above spices in curd and mix


    4.       Now add grated carrot and mix.Add salt to taste


    5.      Garnish with roasted cumin powder, red chili powder,black salt,chopped green chilli and coriander leaves .

    6.      Carrot raita is  now ready to serve.

   Note:
  1.          Use fresh curd.
  2.          More spice can be added as per taste
